We are so happy to introduce the staff at Children of Light to
more of you through this web site. Robert and Ron consider it
a privilege to work with these wonderful people - people who care
deeply about bringing the depths of their healing gifts in service
and integrity.
The core of our center is the metaphysical school created and
developed by Robert and Ron. Some of the practitioners listed
on this page have trained extensively at Children of Light - and
offer the core energetic process that we created - primarily based
on fifteen years of Gabriel information and training. Our school
is then greatly enhanced by the work of other teachers, healers,
body practitioners and speakers.
Even though we teach people in many parts of the world at various
times, this page is designed to make you more fully aware of all
that we collectively offer at our Upper West Side center in New
York City.

Ron Baker
Ron is an international teacher, motivational speaker,
author, bioenergetics therapist and healing practitioner. Ron's
focus on inspiring others through the information and process
unique to Children of Light has become his life's passion.
Robert Baker
Robert has been a remarkable trance channel for
Archangel Gabriel since 1990, bringing through clear and compassionate
information about our changing world and personal transformation.
This body of information has greatly enhanced Robert's teaching
and impact as a healing practitioner. He is a Reiki/Light Ascension
Master and a bioenergetics therapist, as well as a sought-after
teacher of workshops in many parts of the world.

Brian Brennan
Reiki Master Teacher, Empowerment Coach and Interfaith
Minister. Brian is a newly Ordained Minister under the Order of
Melchizedek (Oct 2006) and a recent graduate of the Children of
Light's Practitioner Training Program.
He teaching also includes taking others through
the process of Reiki and Light Ascension.
Brian is now developing a new segment of the web site - Children
of Light's Book of the Month Club (due out soon). This will include
books based on empowerment, followed up by an Empowerment Study
Class for those in New York City.
Brian is currently creating and will be starting a GLBT Support
Group and a GLBT Parent's Support Group slated for January 2007.

In my experience, as people's awareness of their

My commitment for my own life is to create a space
for human beings to realize their greatness, by offering them
access to an ease of being. My commitment for the world is for
all people to be clear in the divine intentions for their lives
and empowered to carry them out.
I have studied at Children of Light since 1997,
learning about human defense patterns, as well as Reiki and energy
healing therapies. I became a practitioner at the Children of
Light Healing Center in January, 2006. I have also been trained
for over 20 years in human empowerment at Landmark Education,
having engaged in numerous healing modalities. And finally I am
self-taught in healing mind and body with nutrition, herbs, vitamins,
and stress management.

Katherine Brewster
Katherine Brewster, the founder and director of
The ATMA Center of Yoga and Healing, has an MBA from Columbia
Business School and is a hatha yoga teacher in the style of Svaroopa®
Yoga, a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance, a certified
practitioner of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, and, Embodyment®;
a level 4 Reiki Master; and, a devoted yogini.
After 25 years in the corporate setting, during
which time she worked in marketing, sales, business development
and fund raising for a variety of corporations and not-for-profit
organizations, including Citibank and the Cathedral of St. John
the Divine, she transitioned her life's passion into her healikng
work.
Since leaving the corporate world in 1994, she has
immersed herself in the study, practice and teachings of yoga.
As a teacher, she draws from the various styles of yoga she has
studied - Urban Yoga, Kripalu, Iyengar and Svaroopa®. She leads
yoga classes, stress reduction courses, body-oriented, experiential
workshops, and maintains a private healing practice at COL. Her
teaching reflects her broad knowledge and life's skills, all shared
with compassion, focus and a deep commitment to personal transformation.
Gloria Rodriguez
Gloria M. Rodriguez, is a psycho-spiritual counselor
and life-facilitator. In 1998, she founded DeAlmas (The Soul of)
Women's Collective, a community based organization dedicated to
the spiritual and personal development, empowerment & healing
for women of color.
She holds a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Goddard
College. Her areas of interest and on-going research/work include
multicultural psychology, women's psychology, the intersection
of psychology and spirituality and group process. She presently
conducts women's workshops and retreats nationally. She also facilitates
monthly groups and provides individual counseling at Children
of Light.
She is also a Professor of Psychology at Bronx Community
College of the City University of New York.
Sherrie Lynn Sasha
Sherrie Lynne is an intuitive counselor, healer
and psychic who leads workshops and support groups that revitalize,
enlighten and empower both women and men. Sherrie's modalities
include sound release and breath work, chakra opening and balancing,
movement and dance, relaxation and visualization exercises, and
creative play through drama and art.
Her practice also includes private sessions for
healing, intuitive counseling, stress reduction, dating coaching
